Parkour: The popularity in Parkour Why is it so popular? Not only parkour has become the most popular extreme sport because of what skills and risk it takes to become a master at parkour. Parkour has become a trend nowadays because you can see it being performed in T.V Shows, Video games, movies, social media, etc. Parkour is used as a tool in some action movies or T.V shows to give the audience an intense feeling and amazement, when they see the protagonist performing the sport. For example, In the Netflix show, Daredevil, there is a scene where the main character who is a blind man performs parkour in order to chase a car. What makes this scene unique to parkour is that it makes parkour an exciting sport and gives inspiration to people to perform the sport but they already know that this isn’t one of those sport that requires no effort at all.
